This is a really neat album. Unpolished, yes, but cool nonetheless.
Scott Herren a.k.a. Prefuse 73 is best known for his elctro-Hip-hop compositions. This one, however, is an understated, atmospheric lot of tracks. Very “textural,” as he describes them. Atmospheric and perfect for your lazy Sunday afternoon.
This album was originally released as a CDr on tour. Herron would hand-craft each album cover every day on tour and hand them out at shows. Like I said, really neat.
He technically released this under his real name, Guillermo Scott Herren, but I put it up as Prefuse 73 anyways. But you’ll see his real name when you open the tracks.
